Authorised Push Payment Regulatory Audits as a Service (APP RAaaS) Client Lead Timelines & Process

APP Insurance Application Phase One:

​Step 1:

Purchase the APP fraud reimbursement insurance here.

Complete the survey participant forms here. Please read below before completing:

Please select at least 1 person to complete the survey from the participant groups listed on the above form. In smaller organisations 1 person may cover multiple functions so in some instances the same person may do multiple surveys.

​

There are 2 x tabs on the participation collection form, one is for the APP survey specific to APP measures and controls and the second is the Fraud Assessment Benchmark - Authorised Push Payment (FAB-APP) Risk Assessment, which will be conducted on confirmation of insurance as part of the on-going risk mitigation required. Both tabs need to be completed and more information is below. Alternatively if you provide your full organisation and team list we can do this for you.

APP survey requirements:​

  • For the survey to be valid we must receive an absolute minimum of 8 responses (you can add more than 1 person to each participant group) with someone nominated to support each of the participant groups highlighted on the participant form.

​FAB-APP Risk Assessment requirements:​

  • For the assessment to be valid we must receive an absolute minimum of 14 responses (you can add more than 1 person to each participant group) with one from each of the participant groups highlighted on the participant form. â€‹

​​

  • The APP survey will take you approximately 20 minutes* to complete you will be sent your personalised links to start the survey on email (*if you are the MLRO or the Chief Compliance Officer it will take a little longer).​​​​​

​

Step 2:

On receipt of the participant information you will receive bespoke links to share internally with the selected participants to complete each survey.  APP survey links will be received first and are specific to APP measures and controls and contribute to the overall APP insurance application.

At this stage all dates and timings below will be populated and you will receive a participant briefing page with your survey links.

 

 

Step 3:

​

Key dates and timelines:​

 

  • Your APP survey kick-off and briefing meeting is booked for the <T=0> the link is  <ADD>. Prior to this call you will receive your survey links by participant for you to issue alongside a welcome page (email template for use can be found here).

 

The standard agenda for this meeting is:​​​

a) Welcome and introductions

​b) Your Green Swan single point of contact will be: Emma Hobbs:  emma@greenswancompliance.com.  Hotline number: to be shared at the meeting

​c) Confirmation of customer single point of contact for Emma <ADD>

​d) Confirmation that your team/staff have seen the briefing material and watched the video as required.

​e) Confirmation that the list of participants is correct and comprehensive

​f) Confirmation of timescales

​g) FAQ page and any questions

​I) Issuing of the email with the survey links

​m) Checking that your links works/starting the survey during the call​​​

 

  • Your APP survey should be completed no later than < T-plus 4 days>. The APP survey link will not work after this time so it is important that everyone is aware of the completion date.

  • APP Documents and Policies surveys should be completed and uploaded to these links:

  • We appreciate that some of the documents may not be fully complete so please upload what you have.

​

  • Internal reminder email for APP survey completion to be sent by client lead < T-plus 2 days>. Email template can be found here.​

  • Your finalised report, including an external auditor review, will be available by  < T-plus 15 days>.

​

  • Final report and application review call will be <T-plus 15 days)>.where next steps including loss data collection, will be discussed
